Best option for our needs, but still not great. Glad we didn't stay at Doubletree as there were several fire and police incidents in that area. TPS was refreshed, though it appears maintenance is not a top priority. Bathroom was not cleaned well enough for guests. Breakfast is basic as is expected, however they did not refill plastic ware, napkins and several food items. Some items were not put out at all.

Really disappointed with this stay. When we arrived the room was not ready and we were asked to come back so they could clean the room. That's very reasonable, except that the room wasn't very clean when we were able to check in. All of the surfaces needed a wipe down, the floors needed vacuuming and later we found a drink stain on the comforter. We asked staff to come vacuum. The room had a very powerful anti-odorizer with an overwhelming coconut smell. Unfortunately, since they allow dogs, I think the two options are coconut or dog smell. I understand the environmental and cost savings aspect of cleaning the rooms every other day, but we didn't get that. For a five night stay it was cleaned only once and not very well. Staff was pleasant and the breakfast was fine. Nothing special, but typical mid-range Marriott fare. The hotel was full and parking was too. One night two pickups with Uhaul trailers took up 7? spots which added to the fun. The location was convenient, but we will skip this location on future visits to Olympia.
